Urvi is a GOsC registered osteopath who graduated in 2005, from the prestigious British College of Osteopathic and Naturopathic Medicine (also known as BCOM) with a Masters Degree in Osteopathy and Diploma in Naturopathy.
Urvi has been involved with body work for many years, starting her career in sports massage whilst training as an Osteopath. In the past Urvi has worked in multidisciplinary practice where she gained her early experience before setting up her first practice in Orpington Kent. After moving to Maidstone and starting a family, Urvi set up The Kent Osteopath.
Urvi has a love for learning and all things knowledge. this love has seen her gain numerous qualifications over the years. She now holds a Masters degree in Ergonomics, and qualifications in sports massage, shockwave therapy, medical acupuncture, sports & kinesio-taping, Equine and Canine Osteopathy, Pilates instruction and Functional Medicine to name a few.
Urvi's first experience of Osteopathy was at the age of 14, when she experienced debilitating back pain at such a young age, her doctor recommended to see her local Osteopath. Since the she has always had an interest in how the body is remarkable at healing.
Over the duration of her long career as an Osteopath, Urvi has worked with people from all walks of life and all ages from babies to the glorious age of 98! She has had the pleasure of helping and working with a variety of people including office workers, horse riders, pregnant women, those with acute and chronic pain, particularly back-related pain and patients with impaired mobility.
When she is not in Clinic or on a course learning something new, Urvi enjoys spending time crafting with her two girls, going on long country walks with her dog, Leo and organising her next family adventure.
